| Camp Mansfield on Svalbard or Spitsbergen was bound to be a perfect marble mine on Blomstrandhalvoya in Kongsfjorden. About 100 years ago a small village was set up to exploit the mine. The marble turned out to be worthless because of the bad quality. The place was deserted and all was left behind. The stove is still there. A result of the slow decay rates in the arctic... |

Hi Jacob, what a cool picture. I love the 'voice of age' expressed here and that old stove looks very 'vintage.' Did you put the teapots there or were they there? Interesting shot, they could have left yesterday! ;) TFS
