In this hostile and almost baren land, life comes strong and fast over the short spring/summer periods. Large mammals like polar bears, seals, raindears, share the the beautiful artic summer with several species of birds. It's a magnificent spectacle of nature.
This photo shows a bird cliff sanctuary called Fuglefjellene. Yes, all those small white dots are bird nests. And they are full of youngters waiting anxiously to fly out.

So that's my contribution for the "strange nature" theme. Not really strange as such, I must say, but definetly extreme...

... wasn't that inconceivable loud? Wow Stef, what structures and lines and coloured dots in a mass of gray....I miss the proportions a bit, hmmm, gulls? Puffins?

Hi stefy ! On this one I like your note and the idea rather than the picture itself. Well it is a nice idea to present it with a full frame, no escape for the eyes.
However I can't look at details. They are too small, IMHO.
What I like here are the spots of colors. Green, yellow and white...

You're depicting a piece of interesting geology, I'm sorry to say I'm not the person to fully enjoy the scientific part but I like your image as a piece of art!
