[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture began as three vertically oriented pictures forming the scene. Each picture was exposed at -1,0,1 steps and combined in Photomatix to create an HDR photograph. Three HDR photographs were then hand stitched together and adjusted in photoshop. The result was then a stitched HDR photograph which accentuated the clarity in the darker regions of the scene.

Hi Roger,

I like this shot. Apart of clear effective composition there is excellent light control. My congrats - I tried HDR few times, but always had problems with some grayed areas on brightest parts of the picture. If you didn't write it's HDR, I would never suppose it was..... tfs

Hi Roger,

This is an amazing image. You really do create some sensational images using the HDR technique. I still haven't tried it.

And the fact that this was stitched makes the image all the more amazing, very well done. It's practically flawless.

Very well done, the scene is dramatic and refreshingly unique. TFS, I really like this view. :)

What a lovely image, Roger! I like it a lot! Great provincial scene with lovely colors and details. Saturation is so rich. Love the atmosphere. I like the result of your HDR.

Nice atmosphere here. Technically impressive--I've done a bit with Photomatix and this photo makes me think I should go back and try it some more. I can't make out what is sticking up out of the last rock away from the house. I'd be tempted to get rid of it.
