[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
for the weekly theme...

what I think is missing is some sort of equipment that would open the great big, heavy doors to the tower.. I took this near a very big arch.. Feel free to correct me if anyone knows what is really missing :)

The Rosenkrantz Tower was built in the 1560's by the governor of Bergenhus Castle, Erik Rosencrantz, and served as a combined residence and fortified tower for Bergen. Earlier structures by King Magnus the Law Fender (1270) and Jørgen Hanssøn (1520) incorporated.

Ok Tricia you have a "stumper" here. Hard to guess. Something to determine proportion would help. Looks like two holes in the wall to attach something over the hole. Mmmmmmm!

How interesting. A mystery to be solved.
I wonder if it had been a clock screwed in there?
A peep hole where you could see who was outside?
The stones look like they must come from around that area.
