This is the back of my husband Tom carrying my stylish blue backpack down the trails of the funicular in January of this year.. I really liked the light on the side of the rocks.. the ride up was amazing and the walk down was a little hairy well for us tourists.. as the locals where running past us at great speeds.. up and down the path!!!!!

the reason for the title is I know I am always LAST always the one that needs to run to catch up to the pack.. does this bother me?? NO way.. imo Tom here is missing the beauty I am catching.... :):)

Hi Tricia
Travel to Bergen in January ?
I thought it is too cold there however seeing your husband dressing light I guess it is not too bad

Good compostion,I like the light on the rocks as well. TFS

I also enjoy the light here very much Tricia , the light balances your composition just fine as it comes from both sides , i find interesting the path actually leading the eye of the viewer into the scene , your husband is a nice addition too, a sign of human activity . Norway is a great country in all seasons ,if you went skiing in the area , lucky you!
TFS, Carol

I don't imagine I'd have too much confidence on a road like that, either!

I agree - the light coming in here is spectacular, especially the way the road remains in shadow with the sun not yet risen above its plane.

Nicely composed too!

OMG! You are SO right Tricia! Dave is always turning around with that L@@K (what are you doing now???) HAHA! This path looks slippery! Hope you didn't run! I love that light against the rock wall! I see little puppy prints too...or else someone was walking in heels!
B-)
