I guess I should have made it smaller hight to fit on the screen....

I adjusted the bottom 1/2 of the door to fix the tilt
but I see it did not fix it on the top apart I'm gonna say its due to the old building?

In January I was lucky enough to tag along with my husband while his company sent him to Norway then on to Sweden for training...
While he was in "school" during the days I took to the streets with my camera and its little rain jacket!

As you can see I've had this photo for months and was never really happy with it enough to post to TL..

But I am in a different state of mind.. I'm looking for ways to improve my old shots so I can get better!

Feel free to NOT give me points as I can not take them to the bank for a free toaster!

BUT please leave your ideas on how I could improve it via PP OR the next time I'm out on a hunt for doors!

If you feel something is off please tell me how to fix it OR better yet show me in a WS!

I cropped a little off the left and top
I added saturation and fixed the color curve (I think)
resize then sharp by 3

Hi Tricia! How are ya? Did you get my love poem? HAHA! Hey girl, good to see you post! Ok, for me, I would add a vignetting around the pic, just to pull the focus to the door, also, might desaturate for MOOD (you know how moody us gals are)...B-) I will do a WS for fun!
Hey, posted a pic of your BUDDY today.... Condor Graeme!
Linda

salut tricia

magnifiques coueurs pour cette porte, le bois a une couleurs chaude qui ressort bien de ce vielles pierres
beaux détails d'ailleurs des pierres et de la porte ainsi que de grands contrastes
belle capture

Hi Tricia,
Great shot, I like the wood door surrounded by all that stone. The different colors and textures are nice especially the wet stone at the bottom of the frame. Very good details as well. Nice work Tricia.
Regards,
Kevin

Hi Tricia,
I like this very door. I have my favorites in the entrance doors, collecting them. / spectacular entrance / The whole world is also pretty ugly too old as well. Great work, congratulations to a good POV. Regards Sandor

ok no points well i do have an extra toaster!
ahhh what the heck a couple points instead!
so i do like the effect that you came up with, i agree i think the building is old and that creates the tilt, i like the darker mood to this one,
take care, must go find some bread for the toast hahaha

I must say I like Linda's workshop very much, but I do prefer the brighter colors in this. It's very eye-catching. So many different tones and textures. A lovely picture! Nice detail. TFS

Hi Trica,

Love the colours and contrast in this one. The reflection of the door on the floor is a very nice detail. First I thought the photo was a bit to much rotated to the right. But looking at more details I begin to think the building is just not straight! Well seen place and very well captured.

TFS Greetings Simone
