The moose (North America) or elk (Europe), Alces alces, is the largest extant species in the deer family. Moose are distinguished by the palmate antlers of the males; other members of the family have antlers with a "twig-like" configuration.

Althought close parent, this image is one of a Moose, which apparence is different from the Elk, so I think the title "Moose" would have been more appropriate.
Nice and interesting shot. I find it a bit to low contrast, but I've learned here...that's a matter of taste..)))
