Pablo, I'm not sure I need to analyze this photo in terms of technique -- I'm just commenting because it looks so delicious: it's like one of those German or Hungarian gingerbread cookies dipped into eggwhite/sugar merengue icing, crunch, yum, sweet! :))

Amazing how bright and lively the whole image is; it is so easy to overexpose snow and so difficult to do a good jon on a scene like this. Spring is coming: for you, it's the melting of the snow; for me, it was 25 degrees Celsius and, at the same time, an all-time-high flood on the River Tisza just about ten miles from where I live. Both nice and scary. And today, some terrential rain...

Anyway, great job capturing your spring; I'm leaving now to see more of your series. :)

Hi Pablo,
great, minimalistic one with superbe colours in 3 large areas. Perfect proportions between the sky and the ground along with the separating curve makes me thing of Ying-Yang sign. Another association is one of the Polish mountais - been there many times. It's peak look almost exactly like the hill you have shows - brought back my memories (absent there for 10 years - the place became too crowdy for me...) tfs

D50 is the digital single lens reflex camera which is comparatively easy to purchase in Japan.

Receding snow lines, a bit like receding hairlines. I got back to Fredrikstad from Lillehammer and all the snow had melted in the garden and the bulbs were beginning to bloom. Travelling further south life has become even more colourful. Lovely.

Pablo post as many photographs of snow as you like, I am already looking forward to the next skiing season ;-) But not necessarily the next season of snow clearing, and changing to winter tyres.

Nice opposing diagonals here created by the blue, white and brown of the different components, and within no time at all that brown matt will be a lush green!

I just love the simplicity here. Just three colours, and just a few lines. You have brought the different aspects of this photo together very well. Nice way to portray the oncoming of spring- with the snow melting exposing the ground below.

Hello Pablo, you do superbly well with nature photos, and this one is another one.

I like very much the way that you composed the image with part of the mound, making a nice curve against this deep blue sky.

And what adds to the graphical image, is that half of the mound is covered with snow.

So simple and yet so strong as an image!

I love the simplicity of this shot while I can also find a side to this photo where there is alot going on. The combination of just the three colours looks great and i love the blue of the sky such great shades. The line in the snow helps lead your eye through the photo and the idea behind the photo is great.
