Thanks for the last line.... My question was about those spot.. too small and well define to understand it's not on the len. But as they are so less visible compare some heavy rain i take on glasses... They suggest big drop of rain... Cause increase the contrast and make it probably a bit less darker really give the impression the storm arrive in one shot on us...

This is a hit, of course, for the subtility of grey tones on lake and the impression of imminent and severe bad weather.
I would say that ice patches appear as horizontal brush strokes
on a painting!

Hi Pablo. Good to see a lake named after the famous explorer. Very emotive mood in this wintery capture. It seems cruel to enjoy seeing ice in distant lands as we have none around here. Mind you we could do with some as our water is scarcer each year of late. TFS. Murray.

Somehow, I feel that, I like the original (posted in ws). Almost all details are visible there. But, it could be only to me. I like the POV and the ice formation. It is really a nice opportunity to take photos while travel. But, the person who is in driving seat will never get that chance (unfortunately, I will be driving my car all the time and so, no chance to take photos like this). You had a nice chance and you used it well. TFS
