[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The salmon season started June 1 in my place, and this is for my Spanish friend Ruben Maria, a dedicated salmon fisher!

This image shows the place where you will land your 15 kilo salmon after a successful fight for at least 30 minutes…

Next you will have the option to have it smoked and bring it back home, or we can prepare right there by the riverside! 15 kilo means we have to invite at least 20 persons then…

Please also see the workshop image, showing the full river from the same point of view!

Hi Pablo.

Very interesting shot...the plight of the salmon, the energy they exert to reach there spawning grounds always amazes. The area shown on the workshop shows a beautiful place, great shot.

Hi Pablo,
Nice & sharp. I like your POV here. Very well seen & taken.
Cheers,
Mohammadreza

Hi Pablo,

Great POV with beautiful warm lighting and colours! Seems like a great place to fish for salmon. What I wouldn't for 15 kilos of sushi... :))
Well done, my friend!

Constantinos

Hello Pablo.
It seems you dont like to tell us, WHERE ?
As I spent some time in Arendal AND Stavanger and flew over a 100 times via Stavanger to the Beryl Alpha production platform what we build there, Looking at those stones think is do recognize them laying near the Bergen Fjords .lol
Nice memorie shot anyhow, thanks, Jan

Remember to pack the mustard, the beer and aquavit! This looks a bit like my trademark tilt put to good use. I can almost see them jumping. 15kg that is a smashing catch. Cheers and well done Gazza

Hi Pablo,
This is a very nice photo. I like how you tilted the shore line to place it against the main diagonal. very well done.

Hi Pablo, Looks a quiet spot to get away from the rat-race. I also like the wide river view in the workshop. Good to see more of the diversity of Norway. Murray.

Hi Pablo, Very clear focus of the rocks. Terrific nature shot. Regards - Danilo

Hi Pablo. Outstanding nature shot. You've captured the rocks within the clarity of the water. Well done.

pablo,
nice color and detail. i also like the full version. they both have different perspective. i am not a fisherman but an avid fish eater. so i can be a good friend with any fisherman!!!
here is a recipe for salmon:
turn the oven on bake 350 farenhite. a big chunk of salmon. appropriate amount of butter(a lot of it), salt, a little salt, pepper and a hint of rosemary or thyme. put it in a container, cover it bake it for 20 minutes. and you are done. try it out.

Hi Pablo,
WOW! This is super. Nice light and detail.
The diagonal line formed (ie by the shoreline and pebbles) adds a special touch.
Well done.
Regards, Daniel :)

So simple but so beautiful ! I love the diagonal formed by the edge of the water. Excellent details, beautiful natural colors, great compo and POV... Very well done !
Valérie.

A very nice composition, Pablo, with lots of interesting detail.
The foreground stones could look a little sharper, and I'm wondering if this is due to limited depth of field, but don't know the aperture you used.
The addition of the workshop view gives this an interesting background.
Regards,
Andrew.

Hi Pablo, good shot of trianges here. Well cropped and presented, thank you. I like the complete view too. Happy fishing!

La ligne diagonale est originale.
J'aime beaucoup ton travail.
Bon dimanche.

Stones - are good! It seems - all up to one to count it is possible! The diagonal has liked - adds dynamics and reduces heavy feeling of stones.
Natalia

Hi again, Pablo - Think I'll put Norway on my list as an intersting country to visit. Your photos look so inviting. - You seem to touch a cord in so many of us with your images. In this one I like the diagonal, the juxtaposition of small and big stones and the visibility of stones under the water. It is a tilted view and the interesting thing for me is that the view suggests a 'counter diagonal' from lower left to upper right corner, mainly, I think, through the two big stones in the middle. Also, it looks as natural as it really is. Simple, beautiful, peaceful. Thank you.
Cordelia :) :)

A very sharp, simple and well composed photo Pablo. The detail is excellent.

Kind regards,
Patricia.

Hi Pablo
I love rock!
I love the composition, smaller stones, then large boulders, then the river. The textures and colour are warm and vivid...thanks for sharing...salmon sounds good for dinner :) Janice

Hi Pablo,
I like the angle in this pboto. The water line is almost completely diagonal on this photo. The rocks are the big attention point and are nicely positioned in the center.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Pablo,
An interesting shot that made me think of the story about the jar, and the rocks and how they compare to our lives. Big rocks are important things in our life, little rocks the less important things. You have to put the big rocks in your jar first, then the little ones, or else the little ones will crowd in, leaving no room for the big ones.
Sorry, it's a bit late here (so I've mindlessly rambled), but you made me do some thinking . . .
Take care,
Karen
