In Holland it was yesterday the warmest day since 1901.!
That shows it was warm in the past aswell.!

May we have some of your snow for our city. We are lacking it. Only about 1" here. Very nice view of the parking lot outside the hotel. I noticed the blue tones. If you use Photoshop, 'Auto colour' can often take care of that. If new, reduce cyan and the snow will become nice and white. Just a suggestion.

What a nice winter landscape! Masterfully captured, specially the fine composition, placing the wooden table and bench in the corner, which gives a size reference.

We could say the background help. Lol i was about to say it is just a melt of snow push in the border... Ho i did one me to at the top of a mountain like that in the spring. I'm always impress to say we can do nice presentation even with details like that...
Here the point who become interesting is the comparison with the real moutain in the background and the trees who separate in a good way of presentation!

This is an excellent snowy shot containing a lot of chill in it. Wintry weather is nicely composed which of course will become a sweet memory especially when it will be summer. Well done.

We are also having a very unusual winter with spring like temperatures and intermittent cold days in between. Blame it on El Nino or global warming. Although the snow is piled in this image, it's a glorious reminder that winter can be very beautiful. Well composed with fine details and colors. Best regrads. Danilo

Hallo Pablo,
Ihr habt mindestens 20 cm Schnee, bei uns kann man nur hoffen das wir noch welchen bekommen denn bis jetzt ist warm, jetzt um 18.00 haben wir noch + 10°C und nur ab und zu haben wir eine frostige Nacht, aber zurück zum Bild ein wunderschönes Bild mit fabelhaften Farben und Details, man sieht die schöne Blau-Töne die man am meisten im Winter sieht. Fantastisch.

I would have never guessed that someone could get a nice shot out of plowed snow, Pablo. But it works well. The blue cast looks fine. The sky is wonderful, I think this was the right time of day for this shot. Even the elements on the left (the table and the power pole) add a nice touch. Well done!

Hi Pablo. Winter seems to be arriving later everywhere in the Northern Hemisphere this year but when it does it is with a vengeance. Lovely workshop image and the main shot well captured. We have had a spate of warmish weather with temperatures up to 33C, not as warm as some parts of Australia of course where they heve been well into the 40's. TFS

Lol this looked so beautiful, I was imagining a lovely scene on a snowy mountain...and then you tell me it is a hotel parking lot :)

It just shows that snow makes everything beautiful...and a good photographer of course.

We have heavy storm as well. The train network was in chaos yesterday and people died from falling tree incidents

I prefer it the way it is this year - without any snow in the plains (In Spain the rain stais mainly in the plains;-)... It is much better to observe the snow on nice pics like this one and blaze in the ever-spring sun. Some environmentalists may blame me for my slogan: Let this photo become historical!
Hehe, joking of course. No one knows what the future holds in store. Most often what has been in the past returns in the future...

I was thinking the same as you about winter and this week, we also received 15 cm of fresh snow and temperatures have dropped to -30 degreed Celsius... So here, winter has come also and I think that it is much better than the weather we had so far. Winter without snow is not winter. I hope it'll last for a little while... This is a very nice capture of this scene with excellent details and good exposure. I like this lightning and this blue dominant color. Well done! Thanks,

been bad weather here..the storms are unpredictable and one has to sit them out
snow is different..
like the big snow ramp on the right and i can see how big it is by the picnic tables..
sky is pretty ominous and looks like more snow on the way

When I was a kid, on our rural road, piles of snow were sooooooo high that we could easily carve tunnels.
Nowadays, when I get back there, nothing so spectacular because of planet warming.
