What a nice winter scene you share with us today. It is very refreshing since winter is not here yet but it will soon be there. I love the color of the snow that did not turn blue or grey due to a very accurate exposute. Well framed with the main subject in the lower right third of the photo. This building must me a shed where they store machinery for culture.Congratulation.

very sharp one here. Comparing the shots of Nikon-users and Canon-users, I still find that Nikon-shots have a greater sharpness, like this one. Nice place too.

I guess looks of things to come in the near future? I agree with you, it is not easy to photograph snow scenes. In this one you have done well. The snow is not over-exposed while you can still see some of the wood planks in the black wall of the sheds. Well done.

hi pablo, yes exposure in such conditions can be very tough, need to overexpose by one f stop at least,

You succeeded 10 on 10 for depiction of textures and for those multi "Shades of pale" in snow!
All trails converge towards human interest for a zest of color in this much evocative picture.
Maybe it was a shed for farming equipment because I can see one left outside.

I was also thinking of posting a snowy picture on this weekend. Of course, taking details in high intensity of light is not an easy task. Here you have produced beautiful results in an ambient sun. Magnificient composition from a nice view point. Well done my friend.

Well done on the exposure in the snow. I know how bright and difficult it can be capture a snow scene. The cabin really helps to tone down the brightness of the snow and creates a nice POV. The people in the background look like they are having fun on this nice spring day.

This is an example of a terrific light management. Yes, I know how hard it is to control glare for conditions like this. What EV adjustment did you use?

I know Pablo, I failed and OE'ed. Beautiful capture of this fresh snow at Easter. Yes I know - in January there still was no snow where you live - very late this year - therefor we were lucky to see some remain on the mountains!!

Nice graphical compo with excellent tones of white. The snow in Norway looks pretty clean. Here in the Rhein valley we haven't had much snow since years and if there is some it only takes 1 hour in the morning to make it look grey, muddy and dirty. Guess this picture might become a rarity under global warming. Have a nice day, THomas

Very lovely, "creamy" texture, always so pleasant, and nice colors. I can almost feel my feet sinking into the snow!
A very lovely view.
I have a friend, in Canada, that has a little cottage just like this one, right next to a lake. It's empty inside and we used to spend hours in a row inside it when we were teenagers.

Hello Pablo - Yes, the brilliant white of the snow is well managed. I also like how the serrated edge of the roof stands out. The side of hous facing the viewer seems a bit UE, at least on my screen. Still, I like the scene. Well done and, from Australia, TFS! Cordelia :)))

Good inclusion of the kids playing on top. I think that they are sliding.

Fantastic compo. Snow on Easter... How nice it is! Once in my life (in the '80's) I experienced a short snowstorm in the mountains in April, but not that big I see on Your photo. Others say "no, not yet", but I, being snow maniac tell "yes, Pablo, tfs this". I'm sure I mentioned our last winter wasn't worth mentioning (no snow at all), so I'm curiously waiting for this one, to photograph such great images as Yours. I know exposure isn't easy when there's snow and sunlight, but I'd like to try...
There's only one, very small mistake by my opinion: instead of the thick white outer frame You should have created a thin black one - but this is personal. The photo itself is 10 out of 10. Congrats, best regards, László

I would assume it is a wagon or implement storage barn.
So you had to remind us of pending winter conditions! Looks inviting enough if I were writing this from a tropical location, but looking forward to the next 6 months or so of snow and cold.....

No, exposure with snow is not easy at all. but it seems you managed to get it balanced. You can see the details in the snow, which is the main subject.
The hut could be a shelter for cattle (I've seen similars in Swiss mountains) or a store house (probabily for hey), or even a shelter for a tractor. I've noticed that the door is very large, to allow the entrance of big things.
