The unusual framing here gives a fabulous context to the in-focus ship.
In all truth, I think I'd have cropped it just a bit tighter for a little less of the natural frame (but that is a very subjective opinion)

Yes the right configuration of the menue is a very important thing in digital SLRs. Nice natural framing and combination of colours here. I just wonder if this would even be more impressive in a smaller frame. Nice one anyway. TFS

Hi Pablo! I remember with fondness Scandinavian Ferries. Not this particular one, but I had taken a few other impressive rides. Loved the smorgosboard served on the ferries from Sweden to Germany. For my appetite then, the ride was too short!
Nice take through the aperture of the rocks.

Hi Pablo,
an unusual but interesting POV. I feel that some sharpness in these foreground rocks will have made it look even more interesting (a smaller aperture).
But perhaps you had little reaction time. Still a good effort.

A "rock-solid" composition as usual that locates the vessel at junction of horizontal and vertical tiers-lines.
Warm colors on ferrous stones contrast beautifully with that of background.

Excuse for what exactly? Any experimented photographer know that any subject could do a photo even dirty things, garbage if there's an angle of interest.

The ferry don't count, It's the relation he have with the foreground who could... I like that cause it give an impression of watching and stay hide. If you had the chance to catch a pirate's boat it would be great... You want a real big reaction who make other will say how could it by...
Go back and try to catch Jesus walking on water lol!

Seriously water & boat already are a great classic on TL! It's an honest good shot between the tourist and artistic catch :) Good test!
