Indeed, it should be exciting to be on board and have access to windows on both sides of train for a thrilling shooting session of Norway landscapes!
I've always like train rides but here in Canada, it's not as accessible as in Europe.
Appealing perspective created by train and rail pit.

What a great capture of the train arriving to pick up passengers! It makes me wish I was one of those passengers and pass through Doverfjell National Park with the hope to see some musk oxes.

Hi Pablo,

Very nice railway photography. The loco seemed familiar, so I took the book "1000 Locomotives" off of my shelf and looked for it. This is a piece of El 18 series (there are 22 working overall), which was manufactured in 1996 and '97 in Switzerland, especially for the Norwegian State Railways. Used for both passenger and freight trains.

The compo's fantastic with the guy and even his shadow in the foreground, the beautiful red train and the mountains in background. Everything's top quality, except for - for me - the color tones of the mountains: they're too cool. Made a workshop with warmer tones - didn't change any other things.

Not many southbound passangers from this view. Public transportation is fantastic in Europe. We Americans are stuck in and with our cars. Well taken and composed - the red of the train add to the nice composition.

Hi Pablo,

So this is one station that is not redundant.
We have considered to make a train journey from south to northern Norway with the NSB, but the time factor made us decide to take the plane. Who knows how many beautiful places we have missed crossing your beautiful country.
By the way I have never seen such an empty platform in a train station. Lovely POV.

Hi Pablo
As a child, there was a game I loved playing that involved a set of cards with pictures of different trains on then. Your photo here would have scooped the pool. You've captured it at just the right moment, and it's a pretty impressive-looking train at that. I like how the reflected light plays down its side. The background is spectacular. The blue of the sky and the green of the forest combine perfectly with the red of the train. I even like the electric wires overhead, which shows just how far gone I am as a train lover.
