I love pics like this Niek! Huge wide angle BIG SKY views, with the dark edges and the foreground slightly illuminated! Love the road because it leads my eye around, and through the picture! Excellent work!

Hi Niek,
This is a great landscape photo! Beautiful composition. The
Inukshuk in foreground is a good entry into this image. With the road looking like a narrow silver ribbon, it leads the excellent perspective towards the far mountains. I like to see the gray sky with the same silver harmony.
The rendering of colors is so natural and give a dramatic mood at the atmosphere!.

Hello Niek, a very dramatic scene with the brooding dark clouds setting the atmosphere.
I like the sharpness throughout the picture, even the plants and mosses in the fg are clear.
The road is perfectly placed in the composition, as is the pile of stones.

Nice view of this wonderful national park. I think ten days later than you we stopped at the same resting place where this image was created. Unfortunately, we had a heavy rain at the top, but the landscape was still gorgeus.
Nice shot, well exposed clouds.

Nou Niek, die donkere wolken belemmeren jou niet om een prachtig overzicht te geven over het Noorse Landschap.
Heerlijk die ruimte die ik hier voel en voor mij zijn die wolken een bonus, als jullie maar niet van de campsite zijn gespoeld.

Ik ken deze plekjes zooooo goed!

OO I am so glad you are back I have missed such beautiful views. Excellent forground interest here with the rocks that hold good texture and detail. Nice lead through the image with the roadway and then a magificent mountain scene in the BG.. what a lovely compo here and nice neat tidy framing to finish.

My sort of shot Niek, foreground interest, classical sky and the road leading the eye into the shot.

All the hallmarks of a well constructed shot, and to add to it great exposure and depth of field.

As usual another quality image. Your comp is well thought out and I enjoy the rock cairns in the foreground as it reminds me a lot of my recent road trip in the western states of the US. The dark brooding sky adds a lot of drama. Well seen. Nice work.

Hi Niek. I really like moody cloud shots.
The road leads the eye well. I like the idea of the foreground interest. Would it work even better with more crop on the left side position the FG rocks off center a bit?? Just an idea. Nice crispness throughout. TFS. Karin
