A rainy day at the pier of Trondheim. Despite the bad weather, taking photos was still enjoyable, because the POV was great on the old, traditional houses of the town.

Trondheim (historically Nidaros and Trondhjem) is a city and municipality in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The city of Trondheim was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The rural municipalities of Byneset, Leinstrand, Strinda, and Tiller were merged with Trondheim on 1 January 1964.

Trondheim is a Norwegian center of education, technical and medical research with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and SINTEF located in the city. NTNU has about 25,000 students. With 168,257 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2009), Trondheim is Norway's third largest municipality, as well as the centre of the fourth largest urban area, with a population of approximately 152,800. As of 2009, the Trondheim Region, a statistical metropolitan area, has a population of 225,847, making it the fourth largest in Norway.

Hi Kristof,
Great shot of these houses across the water, would hate for a tsunami to ever wash in there. I can't believe how many windows these places have! The overcast clouds add quite an effect to this scene. Simple shot, but you've made it work.

TFS,
Scott.

Hello Kristof,
Very beautiful colors and an excellent shot about architecture and nature, living together.Congratulations and TFS.
Best regards Siegfried

I like this row of houses.
I've played a bit.

Hi Kristof,

it's amazing how these houses are perfectly arranged and nicely colored, I really like the contrast against the white sky and the calm water, pretty sharp and neat, simple but really attractive...would be nice to live there I think! feels calm...
