Nice attitude shot Roger! Breaking the rules of looking inward WORKS grand here, very much the same type of feeling as my boy facing outward...a disconnection, a feeling, a statement of being separate! I love the BW, as always! Your tones are excellent here!

Nice pose and perspective.

Hi Roger,I wanted to understand the difference it makes to an image, when the main subject faces the major space, rather than away from it. I did a WS ,hope you approve? I felt that viewing the image, with the subject facing the major
space, keeps the viewers eye fixed on the main subject, but viewing this image,I find the major blank space pulls my vision away from the main subject. I like that faraway look you captured in her eyes with this image.

True she's facing away from the negative space, but she is facing towards the light, which is the important part.
Always worth breaking tradition once in a while to see where it gets you.
Perhaps a little more space above the sunglasses at the top of the frame, but it's a minor.

Hi, Roger -
You can see much more of her personality without the sunglasses obscuring her eyes - very attractive face with a cool expression. Very sharp, great choice of b&w with broad spectrum of tones. Yes, the compo is unusual because she is facing away from the empty space, but it works. Nice image.
Hi Roger
Great portrait, your gallery is full of wonderful portrait series...
The B/W mode really added to its beauty, and her pose is a bonus here
Personaly, I would like that you capture her in the left side...
Thanks
Alireza
