Great thanks to 'zanni' (Gae La Rocca) at TE for seeing some fun similarities between these two pictures

Based on his 'comment' it was fun making this version.

Hope you like it..

Gioconda's become pretty during the ages! But the original one still can advertise spagetti.... Also good picture for loosing weight campaigns (before/after), well that famous one is really before... ;O)
Good compo, and we can see, we are on the way of evolution...
Cheers,
Marcie

Plaisant composition.
I prefer the right !
Congratulations.

Thank's for the mention, Jack. Great work. Darwin was right with his theory. Incredible the look expression of two women: it is the same and also the position of hands; but over all between the two smiles there is not difference! Senamo2001 prefers the right one: Ishould want the paint of the woman on the left and marry that one on the right!

Une réussite totale, j'aime beaucoup l'humour et l'originalité de cette photographie.
Bravo Jack.
A total success, I like very much the humor and the originality of this photography.
Bravo Jack.

Bellisimo! Nice similarities. I really like how you've presented these two beauties. TFS.

Very, very funny how you created this one, Jack, Leonardo knew her already...

I like the new one the best. A close resemblance to Gina Lolobrigida. Excellent capture, clarity and color and of course, beauty.

Jack, you never cease to amaze me! This presentation is *just* terrific.

This is such a new and unique idea and I absolutely love it. Very well done and presented.

hehe, nice idea!good pp.
nice job!!

Nicely done... perfectly done. I have done "La Joconde" too, as a self portrait some weeks ago. Congrats. Marie.

Hehehe! Very nice comparison! But I think that the "modern Gioconda" has not the same smile! :)

This is terrific. What absolutely natural fusion of TE and TL here. If I understood correctly, this girl doesn't know of her claim to fame. Can you imagine how this could get around and back to her? But as it is very kind, I am sure she would enjoy it. This is the kind of PP work I would like to try out, now that I have finally aquired PSP. But how do you add the small .jpeg photo to the note of the shot on TE?

An excellent comparison, Jack. Well seen. A beautiful compo of beautiful women you made.
Btw, have you seen Mona chipie yet?

Very amusing this work, well done Jack :-)
really gives me a big smile.

Bravos for the great idea
...the outcome may not be valued artisticlly as Mona Lisa but the photographer's inpiration is surely great.

Beautiful model as well. A contemporary mona lisa

David

brawo !! super wyszlo zabawnie a nadodatek ladnie , az chce sie usmiechac :D .

Jack,
WOW. Seriously, the coincidence is amazing. The colors in the background, the skin tones, the angles of the stripes/landscape. I am impressed. Too bad she was not turned slightly. I would have thought it was inentional.
Keep shooting,
Aaron

Excellent work. Keep up the good job

Ha ha hi hi!! exellent job.. it could be this woman. Nice and funny work from you.

This is funny. I really see some similarities! :) The colors are amazingly similar too!

The lovliest girl is on the right ,this is my taste in photography, the tones are very similar, the eyes on the right light up the face... I think it should replace the one hanging in the Louvre. Well done.. Joe.

Very origina, Most of all I like how the props, like the cellphone or MP3 players, most expose dressing style, the arm band, the background and the pose of the model really appear modern and contrast with the one done 1625, yet there is similarity in there

Hi Jack, this is really funny, nice contrast between the old and the modern. Only problem is the blue eyes on the modern girl... well, we can say she got colored contacts maybe?

Oh, one other small nitpick, the gray frames are different.

Thanks for sharing! Gave me a laugh!

Erin
