I was on my way to work on monday when I drove past this beautiful car that I never have seen in real life before. It is a swedish made Koenigsegg. I particularly liked how the sun is shining only on the car:)

Koenigsegg Automotive AB is a Swedish manufacturer of high-performance cars based initially in Olofström, later moving to Margretetorp, just outside Ängelholm. The company was founded in 1994 by Christian von Koenigsegg with the intention of producing a world-class supercar. Based on Formula One technology, the car was required to be a two-seater, midengine layout with a hardtop. First they intended to get an engine from another manufacturer, but later chose to design and build their own.

A funny fact for us Norwegians:
Christian von Koenigsegg got the idea to build his own car after watching the Norwegian puppet movie Pinchcliffe Grand Prix (Flåklypa Grand pix) in his youth. :o)

Hi Per.

I agree, it is a very nice car. You know what the problem is with this shot is? It has the Koenigsegg in it, but then it has an ordinary van in the background! It's quite distracting. Another thing with shots of cars (in my opinion) is that they should almost always be close-ups, seeing as it is the car that is the actual subject matter. Unless they are moving or there is something really spectacular elsewhere that can be in the shot, then I think they should be taken from a close perspective. I can see you tried to do this with the shadows, but it didn't quite work this time, although I like the idea. But thank you for sharing this excellent car with us, you're lucky to see it for real.

Enjoy TL,Aqueous.

Per Christian, it almost looks like it is parked in the middle of the road, may I suggest a tighter crop, a lot tighter, otherwise an interesting thing to spot. I have included a link to Il Tempo Gigante. Cheers Gazza

Hei P.C.

Nice image of a very nice car. I like the composition and the light in this image. the way the light highlights the car really works. TFS.

Hi Per,
Welcom in here!!!!!
What a car!!!!!!!!! ;) [but it is a very bad picture... :( ]
Balázs

I prefer a lot the close-up!
If the shadows work in harmony in the close up... I figure here the car il just lost into too much space! Just the close up would be perfect in my taste... But as they are together... :)
