[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I've been impressed by some of the layered shots that people post here on tl and I wanted to try:)
This is a redone version as i have learned a little bit more about merging images. I like the colors in this shot
Technique.
1.Selected person from the background layer and copied to another layer
2.background has been given a texture.
3.Added wind to the person and adjusted in curves.
4. Placed another shot as wings on the subject and tried to make them blend nice.
5. Added a Rust layer as a foreground (blended in soft light.
6. Added three color layers (did some erasing in each one to bring forth different colors where i wanted them.
7. Made a sharpeninglayer using the high pass filter in a soft light mode.


I'm trying to learn so any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

I thought it came out well, Cato. Love the colors you used and truly it's a work of art. The tree branches make a nice pattern on the rock.
