Great alternative to a holiday shot, reminds me of winter though,Brrrrrrrr!

I love the abstract effect caused by the rain on the window, the addition of the hills and the life saver realy gives this image a nice feel! Great work and well spotted.

Hoi Els,
Je moet blij zijn dat je pas slecht weer had tijdens je terug reis. Die dag is toch een reis dag en het weer doet er dan weinig toe. Wat dacht je van een super mooie dag tijdens het reizen maar rot weer tijdens je verblijf?
Dit is echt een pracht foto waar de regen op de ramen het beeld mooi heeft verstoord. Een erg mooi idee en perfect vast gelegd. Wel mooi dat de vormen en kleuren nog herkenbaar zijn. Ik heb echt het gevoel dat ik door deze natte ruit kijk.

Hello Els,

When the weather was so wet, we used to choose a raindrop and see which one could reach the bottom first! It made the rain much more fun!

You have coped by taking a photograph of it!
Pity we can't have this on Photoshop as a blurring tool!

I give you my compliments and points for originality and a refusal to be deterred by the weather!

:-) I think both ways of saying goodbye to Norway have their charm Els... of course the sunset IS nicer!
On the other hand, we did have quite a storm on our way back so we didn't get much sleep on board... :-) you just can't win them all, can you?

Lovely image, I really love the view of the rain on the window and vague contours of the mountain and the life ring on the background...

Een beetje weemoedig, nietwaar? De plaat heeft erg veel sfeer en die ws is ook mooi. Een speciale lichtkleur heb je daar, tenminste, zo lijkt het. Klopt dat?

That is well spotted. The rain on the windows gives a nice effect, the icey mountains floating in the distance, the safety tube hanging there. Good depth of focus.

Vind ik mooi Els, je scherpstelpunt heb je goed gekozen. Die zachte kleuren en dan die rode reddingsband geven een mooi contrast.
