Jon this is just stunning! Beautiful mountain and I love the birch (?) trees, in the foreground. Perfect detail and colour. Excellent.

A lovely photo and I also specifically like the trees in front. Nice colours. One can hardly imagine the danger of an avalanche when looking at this image. TFS and broadening my knowledge of your world.

Sad to think someone was killed in such a beautiful place.
This scene could be from our South Island here in New Zealand.

Oh, I love craggy rocks and bumpy mountains and sloping hillsides and white birch trees! Better yet, put them all together and you have this wonderful shot:) Well done!

Lovely autumn colours here Jon. With a small amount of snow up on high. Avalanches must be scary. I like the silver tree trunks here, it's an attractive composition
