I'm amazed by the sharpness throughout this shot - a good reminder (to me) that I should close down that aperture when taking scenic shots. (I'm so used to portrait photographs.)

Perfect metering, and great composition the way the eye is led down the track in the snow, and off to the distant mountain.

Hello Jon,
This photo proves that simplicity works! Excellent, how the off-centered "ski track" in the snow leads our eyes towards the landscape behind. The curved shape of the lake seems to prolonge the line of the ski track, adding another, "broadening" dimension to it.
I also like the serene atmosphere... Nice work!

Another perfect image, Jon. I love everything about it. The light is amazing and the single track (yours?) leads right into the heart of the image. The detail is just amazing and your notes perfect. The next best thing to being there. Excellent.

hmm... this looks like icing sugar... or sugar powder.... Ever since our first trip to Norway in 1981 I have told my husband we will once go and see Norway in winter... So far we have not done it, but... I'm soooo sure we will!
Specially after seeing this.
A gorgeous landscape and I think you have a well balanced light here.
