[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The river Biebrza in village Brzostowo in National Park of Biebrza. One photo from project "Happy cow from Brzostowo". Every morning the cows swims through the river and all the day spend on swamps, in the evening backing home. They are happy, because on swamps walking where they want - without fences or chains - they are free :) This project protect the swamps - as result swamps don't overgrow with reeds and there rare sorts of birds can be lived (for example Aquatic Warbler [Acrocephalus paludicola] - an unique bird in european scale).

Sure looks like a happy cow. What a beautifull place and such great light.

Such a proud (I hope not vain) stance, well captured. The brightness of the image makes one feel the beauty of the place which she must enjoy so much to regularly visit it. The cow herself is well placed looking like she is striding into the image. The only minor distraction is the object sticking up out of the foreground rock. I do like the effect of a bright foreground with slightly darker clouds in the background.
