Thatching in Biskupin

This is a macro shot of tatching made of straw. The roof covered two log-houses loceted in open air museum of
Iron Age settlement. The thaching covered roof of 8 x 10 m log-house.
Biscupin is a small village in Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in which is located archaeological site with life-size, reconstructed fortified settlement. Open air museum is located at Biscupin Lake.
