A very curious cat, he was always with me while I was taking photos in the garden :)

Hello Katarzyna,

Sweet cat and nice photo.
I liked his face especially.

And wellcome to TL.

Best regards,
Metin

Hi Katarzyna!
welcome to TL...
very nice photo, excellent B&W choice...
the composition is perfect...but i think it lacks a bit of sharpness, but i understand that taking photos of animals is not the easiest thing to do, since they move a lot:)...
thanks for sharing...
regards,
Alper

Hello Katarzyna,

Your subject is really cute and I like the black and white conversion here, but in my opinion your photo suffers from certain shortcomings:

- the focus seems to be on the ears, rather than on the eyes and the nose of the kitten;

- your composition looks quite unbalanced, with the paws of the cat partly cut off and much empty space on the right.

I admit that it is not easy to get a kitten sharp, as it moves a lot and is very playful, but given the fact that you didn't get its entire paws, I would have done a much more severe crop, making a kind of "cat portrait": cutting the whole (and empty) right part of your photo as well as at least 3 cm of the bottom part. You then would obtain a +/- square format, with the head of the kitten nicely off-centered.

Just my personal view, of course. Feel free to (dis)agree ;o).

TFS & kind regards,
Erik

peccato che tu abbia tagliato le gambe a questo bel gattino!
una bella composizione anche se la luce andava bilanciata
la messa a fuoco è sulle orecchie e non sulla faccia
non è facile ma puoi farcela

hi Katarzyna,
welcome to TL. a cute cat, really..curious expression too :-).

how about adding it's paws? another question, how did you convert the image to b/w? how about a bit more tonal variations? nice capture anyway :-)
