[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Arkadia - village in Lowicz County - Garden in English style (Romantic style). The English style definitely opposed artificiality and regularity of baroque gardens. Garden in Arkadia was found from end of XVIII century (1778 y.) by Helena Radziwill (wife of Prince Michał Hieronim Radziwill).

Arkadia wioska koło Łowicza (niegdyś nazywana Łupią), położona nad rzeką Skierniewką (Łupią). Na terenach nadrzecznych, Helena z Przeździeckich Radziwiłłowa, żona księcia Michała Hieronima Radziwiłła, założyła w roku 1778 - park w stylu angielskim (romanycznym). Park w stylu angielskim w Arkadii, różni się w sposób zasadniczy od utrzymanego w geometrycznym porządku ogrodu barokowego w pobliskim Nieborowie, gdzie mieściła się rezydencja Radziwiłłów (obecnie filia Muzeum Narodowego).
W parku w Arkadi obok drzew i zieleni ogrodowej wybudowano wiele obiektów stylizowanych na budowle antyczne lub średniowieczne (zresztą wiele mniejszych obiektów ogrodowych to autentyczne antyki sprowadzone z krajów basenu Morza Śródziemnego). Jednym z obiektów parkowych jest "Świątynia Diany". Położona nad stawem budowla, zaprojektowana przez architekta Szymona Bogumiła Zuga, powstała w roku 1783. Pod tympanonem umieszczony został napis w j. włoskim: "Dove pace trovai d'ogni mia guerra". Jest to cytat z sonetu Petrarki - "Tutaj odnalazłem spokój po każdej mojej walce"

Bardzo specyficzne ujecie, a wraz z pouczjaca notka jest to rowniez historyczna ilustracja.
Kobieta dodaje troche zycia w kompozycji i czyni tu nastroj - calosc ciekawa, rowniez refleksy w stawie:)))
