Well, it's just a picture of a rose. I took a few flower shots last summer, but since I am not a fan of flower photography I have never posted them until today. So this is one of them...

I normally don't react to shots of flowers.
I like this but perhaps because it's blue.
Could be sharper but maybe we could call it 'soft focus' for effect. I'm OK with that too. Maybe a frame would help?

The choice of black backround is extremly interesting and fascinating.

Hello Katie,
I like this blue macro of a blue rose with these water drops. The sharpness is ok for me but are find there is too much water drops It's kind of distracting. But in a whole it's a very nice macro. TFS

Try to increase the aperture to at least 5.6 for this type of photography. Overall, good composition but the focus could be worked on.
