[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another European Garden Spider... it's really hard not to notice them, as there's plenty of them in Poland, fortunately they are quiet interesting topic for photos ;]

The European garden spider (Araneus diadematus, cross spider) is a very common and well-known spider in Western Europe.

Individual spiders' colouring can range from extremely light yellow to very dark gray, but all European garden spiders have mottled markings across the back with five or more large white dots forming a cross. The white dots result from cells that are filled with guanine, which is a byproduct of protein metabolism.

It is hard to provoke a garden spider to bite - if it does, the bite is slightly unpleasant, though utterly harmless to humans... uffff ;p

Hi Koleta,
Wow! This is a very incredible macro, I like the great details on the spider and the tiny line of the web around it. I like also this beautiful green background that make it a nice colourfull composition.

P.S. Thanks for all the nice comments on my photos. I'm glad you like them. TL is such a nice place to learn and share our photos.

Have a nice day.
Luc
