Doronicum orientale (Leopard's Bane) is an ornamental plant in the Asteraceae family. It is a hardy (to zone 3) perennial, unusual for blooming from early spring through fall. It has vaguely daisy-like yellow flowers on long, straight stems, which attract nectar-eating insects. The plants grow 3 to 4 feet tall. Likes both shade and sun. All parts of this plant are poisonous to humans, if ingested.

Omieg (Doronicum L.) – rodzaj roślin należący do rodziny astrowatych. Gatunkiem typowym jest Doronicum pardalianches L.[2]. Należy tu ok. 35 gatunków występujących naturalnie w Eurazji. Niektóre są uprawiane jako rośliny ozdobne. Jako takie zawleczone i zdziczałe w występują też w Ameryce Północnej[3]. W polskiej florze 2 gatunki występują jako rodzime, kilka jest uprawianych i dziczejących.
