welcome to treklens. this picture is not bad but there are some issues that get in the way. first is that twig that awkwardly covers her pretty face. next is the way that that red bag is robbing the eye away from your original focus which should be the face the head and the surrounding flowers. also the exposure is a bit washed out creating unnecessary haze. you might also want to adjust the slight blue cast. all this could be adjusted in photoshop with a little practice. good luck and enjoy your first day in school. ;-)
