Hello my friends.
This photo presents the radio tower, built of larch wood, which is hold together by bronze dowels.
Gliwice Radio Tower was built in 1935 and stands on an area of 20*20 metres. It is 110 metres high and since the demolition of the wooden radio tower in Ismaning is the world's tallest tower built of wood!
On August 31, 1939, the Germans staged a 'Polish' attack on Gliwice radio station, which was later used as justification for the Invasion of Poland.

***Info from Wikipedia.

Picture was converted to sepia and the old paper effect was applied in Elements 6

Simply majestic abstract composition. The detail is great, but the lghting and composition are stunning. you have turned an everyday abject into something special.

Hello Wojciech ! Great shot and good PP work on this one, great note too ! I like the effect and the composition, the exposure is perfect and the light is nice. I would have cropped the fence in the bottom. Well done my friend, have a happy new year !
