[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello my friends. Another shot of abandoned coal mine building in Gliwice. This time with no zooming in technique. I liked the shadows of the columns on the snow. Set aperture to f/22 to get a star effect.
During RAW processing used fill light to get more details of the building. Increased contrast and added a bit of golden tint. Converted to jpg, framed, signed and resized for TL.

The composition at his best, the impact is truly interesting, I just love it.

Iso.

Great work incorporating the lens flare into the composition Wojciech.
The warm glow on the snow is captured well.
And the long shadow lines really make this shot.
Well done.

I love how you did this Wojciech! Excellent details! I love the perspective of light here. Nice reflections of light in the bits of water in the sand! Nice work!

I like the mood and atmosphere of this shot! The light and exposure are beautifully managed, I must learn how to use aperture for that kind of effect too.

Hi Wojciech,
You built your composition with a great sense of space! Excellent use of this building at the top of the image. You allowed a maximal use of the rays of light to come at us in foreground. This emphasized the vastness impression of this place. The star effect is a bonus as well and the sepia treatment added a relevant timeless mood!
Congratulations! Annie

Salam Wojciech
Very good and well composed shot.
Excellent sun capture and great star you've formed.

Hi,

I didn't like the previous ones, but this one is great!
I like the way the Sun rays give some shadows.
