I like it. In fact I like the way you've used the light. That in fact one side is perfectly lighted up and the other side is dark but not that dark so you can still make out the eye. Good framing too, the face is placed on the left side of the picture where it should be. Your DOF management is spot on.
You've also choose to show that natural texture of your model skin and I salute you for that. Nowaday, there's to many post on of portrait where skin has been excessivly soften by all kind filter that it doesn't looks like skin anymore.
In two words, well done.

it's a very intense portrait, the idea is great, but i have some critique on the use of light. the left side of the face is to dark, there is no detail anymore it's all black. i rather see some toning in the dark, the lines where here face ends and a bit more eye. just using a little reflection board could do the trick.
