| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hello there,
Few words I would like to say about this type of PP work.
I think that the end result is very attractive, yet minimum work needed.
We take a photo of a person who is in my example behind the door.
We open a new image in GIMP or Photoshop with white background (others call it backdrop).
Then we add a thick frame around it (there are several ways of doing it, depending on the graphics software you use – you can search Google on how to add a frame/border).
We cut out the person from the original photograph (we can use such tool as Magnetic or Polygonal Lasso Tool, found in Photoshop for example), and paste on to newly created image.
This kind of PP work is not so difficult as it might look, but it does take a lot of time to be completed, and great accuracy is also needed when cutting the person out.
I hope this helps.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
Waiting for your ideas J |

Very cute child. I would like to see some notes for how this was accomplished. The results are interesting with the white background
