An absolutely stunning shot here, wonderful POV and the detail is really sharp. You have captured this so well that it does look like fog rather than low contrast which can easily happen. A wonderful feeling given off by this image, well done.

You are right about the morning being a great time to take a camera along and go walking to that perfect spot and in the right misty atmosphere make some fantastic images like this one . I like the ghostly appearance of the trees and the narrow path running around them all fading away in the distant BG . A very likeable composition indeed ,
