[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Eichen sind einhäusig getrenntgeschlechtig (monözisch); die Blütenstände sind eingeschlechtig. Die Blüten sind sehr einfach gebaut, wie es bei windbestäubten (anemophilen) Taxa häufig der Fall ist. Die männlichen Blüten sind in hängenden Blütenständen (Kätzchen) zusammengefasst. Die Blütenhüllblätter sind verwachsen. Die männlichen Blüten enthalten (zwei bis) meist sechs (bis zwölf) Staubblätter. Die weiblichen Blüten enthalten meist drei (bis sechs) Fruchtblätter und Stempel. Jede Cupula enthält nur eine weibliche Blüte.
Eichen sind insbesondere an ihrer Frucht, der Eichel, zu erkennen und in den einzelnen Arten zu unterscheiden. Die Eichel ist eine Nussfrucht. Die Früchte sind von einem Fruchtbecher eingeschlossen, den man Cupula nennt.

Oaks are deciduous or evergreen trees, more rarely shrubs. The alternate, simple leaves are lobed or ungelappt. The leaf margins are smooth or serrated. The stipules fall off early.
Oaks are monoecious unisexual (monoecious), the inflorescences are unisexual. The flowers are made very simple as it is on Monocotyledonous (anemophilous) taxa often the case. The male flowers are grouped in hanging inflorescences (catkins). The Blütenhüllblätter are fused. The male flowers contain (two up) is usually six (or twelve) stamens. The female flowers usually contain three (or six), leaves and fruit punch. Each cupula contains only one female flower.
Oaks are particularly at their fruit, the acorn recognize and distinguish the various species. The acorn is a nut fruit. The fruit is enclosed by a fruit cup, which is called cupula.

What an amazing view. Beautiful lighting and amazing soft green colours. Great silhouettes and very good composition. I realy like the details of the gras and the clear blue sky is a very good piecefull background. Great job!
