[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
in Szczecin harbour. Short visit from the Swinoujscie base. The ship was open for public visiting.

ORP Poznan (Pendant 824) is Lublin class minelayer-landing ship of Polish Navy named after city of Poznań. Ship was commisioned on 8 March, 1991 and incorporate into 2nd Minelaying and Transport Unit of 8th Coastal Defence Flotilla based in Swinoujscie. During service ship took part in some international exercises like Strong Resolve 2002, Blue Game 2003, BALTOPS 2004, BALTOPS 2005. During exercise Anakonda 2006 Poznań was flag ship of commander of 8th Flotilla.

Since 2003, in 13th anniversary of commisioning, on ship was placed plate with coat of arms of Poznan founded by city of Poznan.
