A Polish Angel
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I photographed this little Polish angel about a year ago during a visit to Krakow. I played a little bit of hide-and-seek with her on this big slab of concrete, and while we were at it I managed to snatch a few photos.
I tried some low viewpoints and some high viewpoints, but I liked the high viewpoint better because it eliminated the cluttered background (houses, cars, weeds, trees, etc). Strange cement slabs seem to be somewhat common in Poland, at least the areas of Poland that I have visited. I think this might have been intended to be a house but was never finished. Now it is a great place for hide-and-seek, with occasional holes to duck inside. You just have to use your nose to avoid stepping in anything unpleasant. |

Such a sweet look. Posing of this tiny girl is interesting, her confidence, smile and spark behind her eyes are remarkable. Nice shot has been taken. Good presentation in a delecate frame.
Thanks for sharing this image.
Hello Erin!
Cute angel and partial desaturation here. Very glamourous pose for this young model (^_^). About the POV , you are right , with a lower POV you have more distractive background, but you can work with a narrow DOF by taking a faster exposure time. You can also easily worked with Photoshop blurring it like here or even changing it completely.
You have also great opportunities shooting from the ground upward (^_^), but it is a bit more messy for our clothes....
Just a thought (^_^).
Obviously you love children. Reading your notes and browsing your gallery , you must be a good teacher, as the kids smiles spontaneously and naturally at you. Good luck in your works.
Cheers!
Robert
