Taken on stairs. Just... Without any blurr in PP, just the lens with focal lenght 168 mm x 1,6 (for Canon EOS 20D) = 268 mm analog equivalent.

Corrected tones with curves. Final sharpening - 260%, 0.4ps 2L.

It's great how you managed to focus just on one pole an leave all the others so wonderfully blurred without the help of pp. Definitely well done, with warm colours and sharp enough for us to almost feel the wood texture.
Simple composition, but a good photo :-)

Very good controlled depth of field. The focus on the one spindle is perfect. Nice warm colours, and a very interesting subject to shoot.
This would go nicely in the theme "Corners of our homes".

a pole taking a picture of a pole! ;-) (sorry, very bad joke :p).
apart from that, i think itīs always a nice exercise to play with DOF. Here you succeeded very well. i did a ws for fun to turn it to b&w.

Nice use of differential focus Piotr. The warmth of the wood colours also enhances the picture. Well done.

very good..difference in depth is so much and beautiful that it really looks like "treted"...
but even if this were the case it would have been a ver pro one..
now that I know it is not treated :) thanks more..
