Self - Portrait 6

PP - was here necessary to make it clear for you.
It was taken at night with very dim one lamp from one side. No Tripod, no flash. So it's not perfect technically but i hope u will forgive me ;)
It is a moved and blurred a little and there was made big improvement of gamma and contrast!


Thanks to Carlo from Band Miriam (Rome) for calling this pic "introspection" , it wasn't my idea!
That is amazing cos one of those hot summer night - close to when this pic was taken..I have heard Miriam for the first time in my live and fell in love so badly with thier music!!!
I have chills on my skin when i hear your music Carlo!!!!!

I see you like doing selfportrait. but i must say yours are not on the top, taking self portrait is easier in a mirror

in addition, in this shot , the light is a bit to hard, and shadows too strong.

Hi Anna,
I'm turning a fan of your diffuse «portraits».
There is an anciente story about the indians and the earliers times of photography. It says that indians were affraid of been photographed because they believed the photography stole their soul.
I believe your «portraits» hide your soul.

i have just told u.. i like this pictures!! pov is excellent.. and ur expression is intense.. i think the few light and the use of iso400 confer a great mood to the scene!! i don't wanna tell u are beautiful.. but u are!! and u are the subject of the shot, sorry!! ;)) really good post!! brava!

I like this one the best of all your self portraits, Anna. I like the shadows and especially the spark in your eye.

I've come to see this shot as one of my favourites amongst your gallery.

I love the intimacy it offers, the girl-and-camera 'I shot myself' genre, complete with unusual lighting angle and obscure details. It represents what we all - I assume! - have done in moments alone, the obligatory "self."
