This has certainly made me thoughtful, largely wondering why you have posted this shot? There is no photographer's note to tell us.

Quite frankly it looks like a random family shot of a pet - I don't see why you think it appropriate for a site designed to teach us about photography?

The dog is blurred, too central and quite frankly the whole image is uninteresting.

Get down to the level of the dog and try to get more facial features.
