Hi folks,

Long time no see, as they say - or rather long time no upload ;-)

Have plenty of older pictures awaiting to be uploaded but due to lack of time for massive PP work I'm falling behind with it all, but trying to get back in shape.

This weekend we went for a nice trip to Zakopane.
Luckily we had a wonderful weather, especially on Sunday when we've gone out to the mountains.

What you see here are The Tatra Mountains. Photo taken on the Polish side, but with a view onto Slovakian part.
Right alongside the tourist track, running from one peak to the other there is a Polish-Slovakian border, so in fact you could be in two countries at the same time - one fool on PL side, the other on SL side ;-)

We took the walk from Kasprowy Wierch mountain, which we reached with a cable car (aerial tramway), where the trip from the bottom took around 10 minutes.

This view is more or less half way between the Kasprowy Wierch and Swinica Mountain.

Height alongside the track was about 1980m m.s.l. and up to 2200m m.s.l.

What to say more, it was a great day of great walking tracks, with beautiful views.

The earlier you get there the better visibility, later on (from about 10 am) you get that blue haze from vapours, after the Sun gets higher.

We had to get up at 6 am, and reach the Kasprowy Wierch around 7:30 from where we left off, and got back at our guest house at 4 pm.

Well I can keep on writing so you could read till you get bored of it, so I will leave it for my next uploads.

Enjoy the view.
Thomas

Witaj Tomku,

Bardzo landny tatrzanski widoczek. Przyjemne swiatelko i chmury w oddali. Moze nastepnym razem :]

Pozdrawiam,
Pawel

Hie Thomas,

A good and scenic view of this mountain but the skies are a little pixelate..well it's alright for me though.

TFS,
Hong

podobaja mi sie Tatry (i zawsze podobaly); tu na niebie jest troche za duzo szumu, najprawdopodobniej spowodowanego naduzyciem guzika 'sharpness' lub zoomu na dlugiej ogniskowej albo jedno i drugie razem; byloby to mniej widoczne, gdyby pokazac troche mniej nieba, a wiecej gor (np. 1/3 i 2/3)
pozdrawia Cie FoTomek

czesc Tomku :)
Widok imponujący, kolory super. U mnie też mały minus za szum na niebie. Mozna to skorygować w Neat Image.
Ja nigdy nie zrobię takiej foty, bo ja kocham góry ... ale z dołu ;-)
pozdrawiam
Zosia
