Welcome all visitors,

lightening hits the ground somewhere in north from my hometown- Mragowo, Poland.

Beauty of thunderstorms will never make me stop watching them, despite of existing danger. This picture was made from window in my flat. The best shots of lightening can be taken when the storm is still far and it's not raining yet- air is clear and view on gigantic cumulonimbus cloud are the best.

Picture was cropped from original size, some noise reduction in Neat Image, then just framed, resized and taht's it.

A great capture. I like that you composed the image so that we may see the clouds. We had a big storm two days ago and while I tried to get a nice lightning shot, I was unsuccessful.

Excellent timing, as it is not all that easy to get lighting when it hits.
Very sharp with the cloud being lit up in such a colour.

Oustanding shot Adrian! Really powerful bolt, a like the bit of blur, almost as if the earth jerked! Really cool to see how powerful this bolt is! I can see why people die!
