[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Back again, yet with another photo from Tatra Mountains.

Here we have a view at Giewont.
It is 1894m amsl.
I would say about 4 to 5 hours walk from Kasprowy Wierch where we started the trip.

Giewont gives a look of a sleeping knight when looking from the other side.

We didn't have the map with us thus weren't sure how long it would take us, and on top of that another 3 hours to walk down to Zakopane city to get to our guest house.
So we decided to take an opposite route. We were planning to walk down straight from Kasprowy Wierch, but thought of exploring a bit more further up the track ... and ended up walking for about 6 hours!

It was a fine day, and I'm planning to go back, this time more prepared :)

PS. Photo slightly corrected as the visibility was getting poorer with time. Best visibility is as early as possible, i.e. 7 or 8 am.

Hi Thomas,
It's very hard to make a good picture with this bright light, nevertheless you succeeded reasonable well. The perspective is wonderfull and so is the landscape. A fine posting my friend!

Hi Thomas,
WOW what a view of this beautiful landscape scene. The mountains look great as the clouds thier cast shadows down on them. Nice detail in the mountains and good color in the sky.
