Tatra Mountains - part 5
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Haven't had enough?
Well here's the next one.
That looks like a fine and well prepared Trekker.
Having a camera ready when you need it is a gold.
A small digital camera comes in very handy while you travel around, more practical and safer to handle while in mountains, especially when walking nearby steep slopes, and uneven ground.
Handling bulky and heavy equipment can be very dangerous, whether you hold it in your hands or having it hanged on your neck or shoulder - the latter can be even more dangerous for your equipment itself.
So be careful while taking photos of such nice views.
It's best to stop, and back up against a rock, only then when you feel safe, take the shot.
Coming back to the Trekker we see here.
What's he photographing?
Well you can more or less see, but to get a better view of it, come back tomorrow for Tatra Mountains - part 6 :)
The photo itself is not perfect, but I guess in this case it's not the most important aspect as to showing the subject, i.e. Trekker practicing safe photography.

Thomas,
Good capture and note. I know wxactly what is to carry a lot of equipment in rough terrain. Did a trip to Antarctica last summer. Check out the shots here. http://www.treklens.com/members/wbriques/photos/
