| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
It looks like we live with pain from the very beginning of our life. Babies often cry not only when they are hungry or feel alone or uncomfortable, but they feel real pains. Beniamin was crying a lot for two months, probably because of his stomach. Now he is more quiet, but soon, with his first tooth, he will feel pain again.
I think that all our life we learn how to manage pain. Physical and psychical. Pain makes us to strive to find solutions for problems. We dream that some day we will not feel any pain, but for now it seems impossible to escape... |

Piotr,
Original point of view which really catches the eye. Good quality too.
I'm not too sure that the central "bar" helps the composition though. If it wasn't there, the cot's bars would appear as rays radiating right around the child - echoing themes of "prison" on the one hand, and "the sun" on the other. Which might have been more interesting still!

A powerful pov but the object in the middle of the photo is a distracting element, otherwise it is good, thanks Piotr.

great POV, nice note - so true.Perhaps if that ting in center would not be there it would be more nice, still, good shot - well acompanied thought.

I think the central element is telling the story like it really is, adding a dimension of being trapped not just on all four sides but from above as well. Good on you for not trying to manipulate the circumstance for the sake of the photo. If this appeared in National Geographic as photojournalism it would be very impressive.
Fabulous
