It's interesting that contemporary cameras give such good photos, that we use photo editors to reduce the number of details, that is we reduce the information that is included in a photo that came out of camera.
For example - all programs, plugins, smoothing the skin, in fact reduce the number of details. The same when we burn some parts of photos e.g. in photoshop. A lot of information is lost. So we do not need so many details, to create a nice image we need to make the view more simple. It is the matter of choice, which details we emphasize and which - reduce.
In this photo I chose eyes. Increasing contrast I reduced much of the rest of her face. The deep of field is very shallow, so even lips are out of focus. |

i really like this direct sight.. in to the camera.. her blue eyes are a beauty!..
i agree with you.. perfection is often not perfect!.. the striking contrast gives a touch of intensity.. and it increase the mood of this capture!!
