Ubiegłe tygodnie były bardzo deszczowe, nasza niewielka rzeka zalała łaki i ogrody działkowe. Powódź o tej porze roku czyni więcej szkody niż na wiosnę. W rzece, z braku tlenu, podusiły się ryby; warzywa na działkach zgniły.. To przykre, że tyle pracy poszło na marne,ale to nic w porównaniu z tym co przeżywają ludzie, którzy w powodzi stracili cały swój dobytek.
Natura jest piękna, ale bywa okrutna...

Last weeks were very rainy, our little river flooded meadows and home-grown gardens. The flood at this time of the year is causing more loss than in spring. In the river, from deficiency in oxygen, fishes suffocated; vegetables on plots rotted away.. It is unpleasant that so much work was wasted to nothing but it is nothing compared with what people which in the flood lost are surviving entire one's belongings.
The nature is beautiful but she is cruel...

Dokladnie tak jak piszesz Zosiu.
Z jednej strony "okrutna" natura z drugiej ludzie.
Niekiedy nie potrafimy zyc w zgodzie.
Co do zdjecia to piekny moment dnia uchwycony i nawet te kable nie przeszkadzaja w odbiorze zdjecia.

I really like this beautiful reflected sunset. The colors are warm and inviting. The overhead powerlines are an unfortunate distraction. I have attempted a WS to show what the image would look like if the powerlines were gone. I hope you don't mind my working with your image. Cheers -

I love this reflection photo. The colours are soft and natural and the sun's reflection is magic. I agree, it would look better without the power lines.
