Azorean Unusual Landscapes I
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the first of a series of landscape photos that try to show some unusual sights in the island of S. Miguel, Açores.
Most of the images shot at the Azores are of the actual "tourist-related" sites. I'll now try to show other scenic landscapes in a more "hidden" part of these beautiful Islands.
This one is near the Populo Beach, in Ponta Delgada area. It's a natural pool about 4-5 meters long and 2-3 meters wide. The camera was placed 50cm above the water level
Techinal Info:
Two shots taken just before the first rays of daylight using shutter speeds of 15s and 30s and a 3Watt LED flashlight to lighten up the rocks.
Mixed the two shots using HDR and enhanced the sky to give a more "dramatic effect".
Hue and Saturation Changes were applied also.
